Pep's Pals

Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

My dad, Pep, loved his family and friends more than anything in life. Money, objects or EVEN soccer could not fill his heart like those he cared about most. Touching the lives of many, he strived every day to leave a positive impact on anyone that he crossed paths with. With this said, lets get together to leave an impact on the fight against pancreatic cancer!

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers at just 9%; with only 25% of patients making it through the first 5 years. This silent killer matures and metastasizes (spreads) often before detection, leading to most cases being diagnosed in Stage III and Stage IV. As of today, there are no accurate or healthcare covered early detection screenings for pancreatic cancer.

This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

PLEASE join us on October 8th or donate to the cause in honor of our beloved father, brother, son, friend and teammate.
