Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

It's that time again Rusty Trunkers!!! 9 years ago we lost myfather, Michael Dougherty, from pancreatic cancer, and for the second year in a row we will celebrate his life by running in hishonor. The Team Name, The Rusty Trunks stems from an old 70's style whitebathing suit he had. He continued to wear it well into the 2000s, even afterthe metal belt buckle (yes, the bathing suit had a belt) had begun to stainthe trunks with rust. Hence, The Rusty Trunks. It's these quirky memories of my father (and many, many others) that help me everyday. I hope you will join us again, and share all of the memories you have of my dad. Whether you join the team and run on Saturday, November 4th or donate and cheer us on from afar, it means the world to me to hear from you. I know my dad would be happy to see us all together and reconnected in one way or another. By joining or team and donating you are helping to raise money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.  By making a donation to our team, you aresupporting efforts to double survival for this deadly disease by 2020. I look forward to hearing from you all and seeing you on race day! Thank you.
