Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
As many of you know our mother Mary was recently diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. She's undergoing treament to fight this terrible disease, with the great strength of will and character she's always had. We thought those of us who care for her so deeply might appreciate the chance to show our support and help raise money for a worthy cause. We'll be organizing a group to walk/run in Philadelphia on November 4th and we'd love to have you join us. If you can't make that location but would still like to participate there are events all over the country you can participate in.
If you can't make it but would still like to give a donation, you can donate directly through this page. Any amount helps. Pancreatic cancer is one of the hardest to detect and deadliest cancers but, due to its relative rarity, it's charitable support lags behind many of the other forms of cancer.
-Geoff and Sean
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’ttake away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
