Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

As most of you know our family lost the cornerstone of our family on April 5, 2016. Throughout his battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Gary remained the same man we always knew him to be with a constant smile on his face and love in his heart - a true testament to his beautiful spirit. Our family walked The Purple Stride last year and were blown away by the support of our team. We are walking again this year in his honor with big smiles and a hope to make a difference.

We can't even tell you how much we would appreciate your support. Last year we crushed our fundraising goal of $5,000 and we'd love to do the same again in 2017. Any sized donation makes a huge difference. Plus, we'd welcome you to join the team if you're interested!

The money raised will advance research, support patients, and create hope for the pancreatic cancer community in support of The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Their goal is to double survival for this deadly disease by 2020.

The Purple Stride will take place in First Ward Park on September 9. If the event goal this year is reached, Charlotte will have raised $1 million dollars for PurpleStride Charlotte since 2012!

All our love,

The Panting Picassos

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.

Attributed to Picasso. Gary loved that quote and spent a lot of time pondering his own gift to the world. In the end, he believed his gift was his children. His children believe his gift is him.
