Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

As many of you know, earlier this year my brother Chuck was diagnosed with Ampullary Cancer. While this was a shock to everyone, Chuck, Janice, Zach, Thomas, Esther, Jan, Di, family and friends have remained positive and powerful using our PEARSON POWER!   Chuck recently finished Chemo (in typical Chuck aka Tank fashion he crushed it) and will be starting radiation soon to fight this terrible disease.

Ampullary Cancer is rare, it is not pancreatic cancer but because it is so rare and often treatment is the same, they put it in the same category as pancreatic. Pancreatic cancer is one of the hardest to detect and deadliest cancers but due to its relative rarity, the charitable support lags behind many of the other forms of cancer. It also recently surpassed breast cancer to become the third leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States. I am starting Team Pearson Power to fund additional research and wage hope for a cure for this deadly disease.

I thought those of us who care for Chuck so deeply might appreciate the chance to show our support and help raise money for a worthy cause. Please walk with  us on November 4th and/or donate to one of our team members. If you can’t make it but would still like to give a donation, you can donate directly through this page. Any amount helps!

There is strength in numbers, but purple ribbons aren’t enough.

Please join us in the fight today.

Love and Thanks

TEAM PEARSON POWER
