Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
The Fighting Feavers team was created in 2013 in honor and memory of Steve Feaver. He was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on January 26th of that year. He fought that disease with strength, courage and most importantly faith for nearly a year. Sadly, he lost his battle on December 11th, 2013. We are continuing his fight by participating in PurpleStride again because we believe that we can make a difference!
This will be our 5th year participating in PurpleStride with the purpose to help raise awareness as well as funds that will advance research and support patients and loved ones who are affected by pancreatic cancer. We are so grateful to all of our family and friends who have helped us in this fight! Last year we raised just over $14,000!!! It was truly amazing and we hope that we will be able to raise even more this year but we need your help now more than ever!
Did you know that pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%? This deadly disease needs more awareness and it desperately needs a cure.
Out team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Please join us as we support Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's efforts to double survival for this deadly disease by 2020. Every dollar you donate ensures that Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
Please make a donation today and help us reach our goal!
