Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

For the fourth year in a row, we are participating in Purple Stride in Atlanta on November 9th, which is part of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month.  Did you know that pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer death in America? And about 155 people each day get diagnosed?

The reason this event is special to us is because we know first hand the devastating effects of this type cancer - Robin's father/Cal's grandfather was diagnosed on 10/2/2015 and passed away after only 82 days on 12/22/2015.  We wanted to get involved to help others and this is just one small way to WAGE HOPE.

This organization is a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer. This cancer is so deadly: the five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer is only 9 percent. More federal research funding is critical to changing this. By making a donation to our team, you are supporting efforts to help with research, clinical initiatives, patient services, and advocacy.

If you would like to join our team we would love to have you run/walk with us! Or, make a donation today and help us to reach our fundraising goal. No amount is too small to make a difference to those affected.

Thank you very much for your help !!
