To know her was to love her. Our sweet momma was taken far too soon because of a deadly disease known as pancreatic cancer. She started to feel symptoms in May of 2017, diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on June 28 and was taken from us July 21 of that same year. It was that quick.
She was the rock of our family and she is missed every single minute of every day.
Did you know...pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. It's a scary disease that grows and grows for years, unbeknownst to the person, and doesn't show symptoms until it's too late. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
*****Our mother LOVED Christmas, thus the team name! If you choose to walk with us, please wear your favorite piece of Christmas flair.******
