On April 6th, 2018, at 65 years old, Cliff Ramos was the picture of health. 2 days later on April 8th, his world was turned upside down.
“There is a mass on your pancreas.” The doctor said.
Cliff’s response: “I’ve had a good life.”
Our only knowledge of Pancreatic Cancer at the time was that it was a death sentence.
Cliff spent his entire life around the wrestling matt, but he was about to take on the biggest match of his life.
After months of chemotherapy and radiation, he was eligible for the Whipple surgery.
In October of 2018 the tumor was removed and Cliff was on his way to recovery. After 4 more months of chemo, every scan including the most recent in September 2019, shows No Evidence of Disease.
