IN MEMORY OF BEVERLY
Beverly is originally from Pennsylvania and is has been an OFFICIAL Texan since 1969. Beverly has been an RN since 1961 and an Oncology Nurse since 1969. She became an OCN the second year the Certification was offered and maintained this credential until she retired. In 1981, she was one of the “Founding Mothers” of the San Antonio Chapter, ONS. She has served as Program Committee Chair, Chapter Secretary, 4 years as President, many years as Chair of the Display Committee, Director at Large and has been a frequent contributor to the Chapter Newsletter. During her career, she also served on National ONS committees, local and state ACS committees and was honored by the ACS with the prestigious Lane Adams Award. In 2011 she was honored as a Lifetime Member of the San Antonio Chapter, ONS.
