Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
We are looking forward to the annual Purple Stride Pancreatic Cancer walk! Team Stormin' Norman is set up and ready for participants and donations!
Please join us again for our 9th annual walk on Sunday, October 27th at 9:00 at Magnuson Park as we walk in memory of Norm and all of our other friends and family who are not with us. We will meet in front of the registration hangar for a team photo at 9:00. Luckily, I will be in town this year for the walk and look forward to seeing everyone. Jen and Matt invite all participants back to their house after the event for hot toddies and snacks. Make sure and catch a glimpse of my new granddaughter Sloane who will be walking (in her stroller) along side her cousins, Grace and Nora.
The cause is a great one, and the Pancreatic Cancer Organization along with all of our help is making great strides to fight this disease.
Remember to wear your Purple Team Stormin' Norman Tee-shirt.
Thanks everyone. I look forward to seeing you. Jolyn
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
