Join Pris's Purple Floosies in the walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
On September 25, 2017, my mother, Priscilla, passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. My mother was diagnosed on June 30th, 2017 and in less than three months my mother went from working, walking four miles daily, mowing the lawn, cleaning the pool -- and taking care of every one around her -- to being the one in need of care. And it happened to her, literally, overnight. .
In honor of my mother's life, love for walking, and to bring awareness and understanding of Pancreatic Cancer, I would love for you to join me on this walk on Saturday, November 9th.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
