Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

My maternal grandmother, Lala Greene, passed away from Pancreatic Cancer on December 26, 2015 after beating the odds of only 7% at the time and living with this disease for five years. Also, my paternal grandmother, Joan Cherner, also passed away from cancer. After losing two grandmothers in such a short time, I have learned the value of life and understand the pain of losing others. My grandmothers gave me so much love and support in life, and I want to do the same for them. That is why this year is more important to me than ever as I fight to end Pancreatic Cancer in honor and in memory of both of my grandmothers.

Pancreatic cancer is the world’s toughest cancer with a five-year survival rate of just 9%. It is estimated that in 2019, 56,770 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and more than 45,750 will die from the disease. Unfortunately, this awful disease has had such an impact in our lives, but instead of dwelling on the past, I keep my grandmothers in memory and fight to end this disease. Please, help me however you can, whether it's a donation, joining Team Lala and walking with me, or just an email of support. This awful disease affects so many. Even tiny drops of water can make a hole through a solid rock with time. You may think a small contribution does not make a difference, but it does when many people help.  We CAN change these statistics. Join me in supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's effort to fight this disease and Wage HOPE!
