Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
Dear Friends and Family,
It has been six months since my father, Kevin Kulick, died of pancreatic cancer. I miss him terribly and am reminded of him every single day. He was a brilliant, gentle, kind, and wonderful man...and father, husband, brother, son, and grandfather. He was young too, not even retired- diagnosed at 67 and dead before his 69th birthday. My father was lucky and received excellent and innovative treatment and still, he did not survive. Sadly, we have lost him, but we must continue to fight. We must research, prevent, treat, and search for a cure for this agonizing disease. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team, Purple People Eaters, has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
