Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

Mark your calendars and join our team again for PurpleStride Maryland in support of pancreatic cancer on Sunday, October 6th 2019 at 9am at CCBC Catonsville.

Last year our team, Team Mama Char, raised over $5,500 (a top 10 fundraising team in Maryland!) with over 60 registered walkers! This year, I challenge our team to surpass our previous year's fundraising amount.

If you attended last year's walk, I'm sure you remember how thankful Char was to be surrounded by her family and friends in support of her fight with pancreatic cancer. Her hair was perfect, her make-up made her appear as if she was glowing, her infectious smile and her positive outlook on life was so evident that day. The weather was beautiful and we had the BEST cheerleader on the sidelines.

Not a day goes by that we don't miss or think about Char. Little things throughout the day that remind us of her or let us know she's watching over us. Please join the Roussey family on Sunday, October 6th at CCBC Catonsville in memory of an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to SO many!

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
