Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer.Wewill walk in support of managing broker for the Buckhead West Paces Ferry Office, Debra Bradley, a survivor of pancreatic cancer.
The debilitating diagnosis has the lowest five year survival rate of all cancer-related diagnosis at only nine percent. Debra was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and began chemotherapy treatments and a clinical trial at the Emory University's Winship Cancer Treatment Center. Debra was declared free of evidence of the disease in January 2017. Tests and scans continue to confirm that she has no evidence of pancreatic cancer.
Debra's treatment was successful, however she acknowledges the challenges the diagnosis and treatment leant to her life. "I am not afraid of anything any more" says Debra, who has vowed to not let the diagnosis define her.
