In September 2018, my Uncle Larry Gray, left this world and went to be with Our Lord and Savior in heaven. After being diagnosed in August 2017, he like many others, made a tough decision to stand and fight hard against pancreatic cancer and not let it disrupt his life. He was determined to survive- for his wife, his sons, his grandsons, and family- at any cost. "He WANTED to LIVE!" Unfortunately, this disease stole a very Brave man, a God-loving and Spiritual man, a man who Adored his Family, a man who loved spending days on the Lake with his Wife and Sons, a man who was on the verge of retirement and ready to devote time to his faith, wife, sons and grandbabies , before being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Larry Gray is a man who is missed dearly, and we intend to carry his legacy in fighting this battle for others suffering from pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
