Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
Hello & Thank You for Visiting the Team Dede Page!
My name is Angela, and my mom, Deann, was diagnosed in early December 2018 after a biliary stent placement revealed a tumor in her pancreas. After some further diagnostic testing, additional cancer nodules were found in the peritoneal cavity, thus affirming Stage IV, inoperable metastatic pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
So, in order to do something to help fight this disease, I created 'Team Dede' and enlisted some friends to step up with me to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network today?
Every dollar that you donat ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today for my mom, Deann, as well as everyone else either fighting for themselves or their loved ones.
