Scooter's Purple Striders

Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

Scott aka 'Scooter' was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer two and a half years ago at the age of 49.  He has been through so much including; Whipple Surgery, Gemzar/Abraxane chemotherapy, 5-FU chemotherapy, multiple clinical trials, radiation and more.  Despite it all, he always kept a positive attitude and had a smile on his face!  Unfortunately, Scott is currently under hospice care as there is no further treatment available to help him with this horrible disease.

We are so thankful for the many family, friends, and co-workers for all of their support!  We had a huge team last year and we can't thank everyone enough for helping raise funds to fight pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
