Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
Thanks again for being part of our team! We are raising money in support of a great cause and our team couldn’t do it without your help.
We will be walking unofficially in Elgin this year, at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 27- the weekend before Madison’s event.
We are walking at 10:00 am - feel free to drop by as early as 9:30 am in the cul du sac. As a team, we'll need to be sure to stay on the sidwalks, yield to cars - aka not block traffic, and be sure to not bring any adult drinks with us on the walk ;)
As usual, please stay for the after-party! The main meal will be provided, so please bring a dish to pass, and drinks for your family :) Because we are walking the weekend before the actual event, we will NOT have shirts to pass out. Please plan to wear your best purple garb!
Thanks again for all your efforts and we are excited to see you!
Marina and family will be going to Madison on May 4. The Opening Ceremony is at 9 am at Warner Park. Let her know if she will see you there, too!
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
