Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
My dad, Sam, ended his battle with pancreatic cancer on May 11th 2014. The first year he was diagnosed we participated in the Purple Stride. When he saw all the support he had there for him the smile on his face; through all the pain in his eyes is a treasure we will always have. I promised him we would do it again and each year and it would be bigger and better. Since he is gone we know he wouldn't want it any other way. This is going to be the 6th year we have been a part of this special day, and we have delivered on that promise. We have collectively raised over $60,000 with OUR TEAM. Even though we couldn't save my dad doesn't mean we can't save someone else from this horrible disease. Please join our team in memory of the strongest man we were all lucky to know! And unanimously together we can fight this disease...Team UFC - Unanimously Fighting Cancer.
