Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
As many of you know my sister, Liz (family nicknamed Whiz, hence ‘Team Whiz’) was first diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in 2012.
She had already been a long time active fundraiser in bicycling for cancer causes well before her own diagnosis with Pancreatic Cancer.
After Liz’s Whipple Surgery in 2012 she went back to her incredibly full life, including (along with her two sons, Tyler and Patrick) arranging a family bicycle trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles which included her sons, our siblings and other family members along the way.
Then early last year, Liz received the devastating news that the cancer had returned but she has never let up in her fight against this disease continuing to be an amazing inspiration of determination and strength.
Please consider walking with Liz and me Sunday, November 11th in Parsippany, NJ for ‘Team Whiz’ to help support the fight against this disease.
Thanks so much,
The Macy, Doyle, Pierce and Gleason families
