Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
Manuel Jimenez. Cop.
He is so much more than that to us but that is how most of us came to know him initially. He is a Lieutenant in the Roselle Park Police Department.
Manny has been on-call, on the beat, on patrol, and even in the air with his drone; doing what he can to keep everyone safe.
Recently, a little while after taking part in the Tunnel 2 Tower climb yet again to support first responders and their families, Manny started feeling sick. After going in for a checkup he was told that word that still stops everyone in their tracks.
Stage 2 pancreatic cancer to be exact.
Then a month later he was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.
Now a group from Roselle Park is going to take part in this year's PurpleStride New Jersey 2018 run/walk on November 11th.
We do it to support the man who has supported others.
We believe in Manuel Jimenez, Cop.
We believe in MAJIC.
Any donation to support Manny and others fighting this disease is appreciated. Anyone willing to walk on that is is also welcome to join.
