Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
On October 15th, 2000 I lost my husband, Frank, to this deadly disease. He was hospitalized September 9th 2000 to find out what was wrong. He passed just over a month later at 48yrs old...leaving behind myself, our 2 children plus 3 other kids. Sounds shocking? Yes it was!
I formed this team not just in memory of my late husband but for all the families being affected by PC.
Recently a family that I’ve known for many years just learned the dad has PC! Danny Zizza is a young guy with a young wife and 3 children! This broke my heart to learn this news. More research needs to be done to stop this disease making widows & widowers!
Join our team in this walk! Let’s do it for Danny
