Please join us to help raise money and honor Big Jim during the 2018 PurpleStride Pancreatic walk in Portland. Diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer on July 1st, 2018, Jim passed just a few short weeks later on August 1, 2018, at home surrounded by his family. Jim never even had the opportunity to fight this horrible cancer due to various health related setbacks as he prepared to begin chemotherapy. There are not enough words to describe how much Jim is missed and his family looks forward to walking in his memory and hopes that one day there will be advancements for early detection or even better, a cure.
