Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
Ralphie's Purple Pals
Ralphie was diagnosed with the rare Neuroendocrine Pancreatic Cancer in 2015.
By the time he showed any symptoms he had stage 4 cancer with metastasis to his liver.
In 2016 he successfully underwent a "Whipple" surgery to remove the tumor in his pancreas.
His cancer still remains in his liver. Currently there is no "cure" for this cancer.
Our hope for the future is the ability for early detection for this cancer and finally a cure in the near future.
