Crabtown Jugglers

Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

Back for our second Purple Stride! This year, the team is named for my dad's old juggling group, the "Crabtown Jugglers". He used to juggle for audiences in the inner harbor in Baltimore, and later for us kids just for fun =). I lost my dad, Joe Fleischman, to pancreatic cancer in January 2017.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. There are many like me who have lost people they love to this deadly disease. It's bleak, but it's not hopeless. And together we can help improve the odds.

Every year, people all across the country come together to "Wage Hope" at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer.

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
