Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
My Sister and I started the team TLC (Teri & Linda Crew) in Honor of our 2 Aunties who passed away from this horrible cancer.
In 2012 our beloved Auntie Linda passed away after a quick but hard battle with cancer. She was an amazing woman with a compassionate heart and is missed daily. She had an amazing laugh and I have amazing memories of her.
Fast forward to October 24, 2017 we had another loss.
Our Auntie Teri came down with what we thought was pneumonia but later we found out it was the dreaded pancreatic cancer. Again! She was only 57 years old. Our hearts were beyond crushed and my heart still aches for her kids and Grandchildren. She lived to serve and loved whole heartedly.
Both Aunties have missed out on Weddings, Grandchildren, Holidays, and so much more.
We have to put an end to this life changing cancer. Not only does it impact the person but the family’s it leaves behind. So much loss.
Please join us in our fight. We are asking for donations and support.
Walk, run, dance, stroll, let’s make it happen!
We can do it together as a family.
