Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. It took Bonnie Daly from us in November 2017.
Bonnie fought valiantly from the moment she was diagnosed until we lost her. During her battle, many times she allowed them to take extra blood or biopsies to be used in testing to further treatment options for pancreatic cancer. She was optimistic that her efforts would be helpful to future patients.
In her memory, Team Bonnie has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. We are walking (or running) to raise awareness for the disease and to raise funds to make a difference in the fight.
Every dollar we raise ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
