Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

In case you do not know me I am Susie Martin. I have an amazing husband Jeff Martin, we have 4   beautiful children Robert Meza, Mellissa Carrillo, Kristina Martin and Brandon Martin and a ridiculously awesome grandson named Aiden Carrillo.

I had Pancreatic cancer and by the grace of God and my brilliant doctors Dr. Tara Seery and Dr. David Imagawa I am still here and free from cancer. I am one of the luck ones!

There is far to many that  were not so lucky they lost there life to this horrible disease. I will see weddings and more grandbabies, I will hear first words and see first steps. I will see graduations and vacations. I will get to hug and kiss my husband when ever I want. although  they are with us in our hearts they will not be there for these amazing moments in there family's lives and that is heartbreaking.  It is important to understand that with your help we can stop this horrible disease.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Be a part of something not amazing and be a hero in someone life.....please help us fight!

Thanks to the amazing doctors and nurses who saved my life and our amazing children who always made me smile even through the pain and thank you to my amazing husband who without him I would have never made it though this fight! Most of all I thank God for this wonderful life!

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
