Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
Join the Cruisin' MaGoozens and the 3M Bicycle User Group to help raise money in honor of my brave, beautiful sister, Linda Steeves Rizk (aka MaGoozen).
Linda was diagnosed in September 2015 with pancreatic cancer and fought with determination and strength like I have never seen. After 19 months, my amazing sister died on April 21, 2017. And while she is no longer physically with us, Linda lives on through all of those who knew and loved her.
Since our first walk in Pittsburgh in 2016, the Cruisin' MaGoozens have raised over $30K in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
I invite you to join me and the 3M Bicycle User Group (BUG) by participating in the MN PurpleRideStride and/or by donating to help build awareness of pancreatic cancer to help double the survival rate by 2020. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen so many wonderful people I know and I made a promise that I would do everything I could the raise awareness for this devastating disease. I demand better.
