Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
April 17th, 2017, our lives changed. My Dad had severe stomach pains and decided he needed to go to the ER. He was one of the toughest guys around, so we knew it was serious. Our journey was a very short one and the toughest 16 days of all of our lives.
In loving memory of David VanNostrand- a Husband, a Son, a Father, a Papa, a Brother, an Uncle, a Cousin, a Friend, a Father in Law, a Brother in Law, a Son in Law and one of the kindest, most genuine, strongest men we’ve all known and loved.
We’re compelled to walk to support others facing this terrible disease. Money raised through the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network provides free resources to those living with the disease, those recently diagnosed and the family and friends of those affected. We’ve been through it and know these people need an immense amount of support.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
