In the summer of 2011, Matt Wilson went to the emergency room for a kidney stone. After months of testing, it was determined that he had a cancerous tumor on my pancreas and was going to need surgery to remove the tail of my pancreas, his spleen, and 21 lymph nodes. On November 15, 2011, the surgeons were able to remove all the of the tumor and Matt was declared cancer free!
Since that day, Matt, his family and many of his friends have dedicated themselves in joining the fight to end pancreatic cancer so that his story of survival can be the story of the other 91% of people who are diagnosed and stories do not end like his. So the adventurous fight continues to this day and we are asking for your support!
