Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
My knowledge about Pancreatic Cancer was limited, like most, until it happens to you or to someone you love. For me, Leslee Vichengrad, was the first person I knew with Pancreatic Cancer. Leslee battled this disease from enduring multiple surgeries to experimental trials. She desperately believed she would find a cure for herself and others. Unfortunately, on November 3, 2017, at 3:20 p.m., Leslee passed away in the arms of her beloved and supportive husband. Leslee lost the round, but we will help others win the fight. You can help by making a donation to research in her name, or joining me in the next PurpleStride Walk for Pancreatic Cancer.
