Andrew's Allies

Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

My name is Christine, and I'm waging hope against pancreatic cancer in honor of my late father, Andrew. In June 2014, Dad was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. He fought the battle with his spirit, soul, and body, until November 2014, when he passed from pain to peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father. He's survived by a beautiful wife and three grateful children, all who want to carry on his legacy of a life well lived.

There are zero benefits to cancer, but I do know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28). Those five months of waging hope have been the most meaningful, eye-opening times of my life, and I'm taking the next step now to DEMAND BETTER for patients and for survival. I know my father has always had a cloud of witnesses supporting him. Will you join me in being one of Andrew's Allies?

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
