Welcome to My Personal Page
My family lost our biggest limb on our family tree on February 6, 2019. It was a short 6 weeks after my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer that had spread throughout the organs in his abdonmen. We watched him suffer in pain & struggle with the reality that was ahead of him as he tried to process the news. He fought such a courageous battle up until he took his very last breath. It is our sole mission to keep his memory and spirit alive going forward and spread awareness about this horrible disease.
We have registered a team #PurpleForPetersen for the November 3rd, 2019 Walk in Boston for anyone that is interested joining us as a way of celebrating Jimmy P's life and also fight against the cancer that took him from us far too soon.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
