Help Amy raise $3,000.00

My family and I lost my father this past February to this awful disease and I have made it my mission to do what I can to stop so many more families from having to experience what my family and I have.

My father Mitch Vitrano battled this awful disease for 8 months this past year and watching him go through treatment and fighting for his life I realized we can no longer sit back and wait for a cure. Instead we need to Stand Up and fight for one! No family should have to endure what my family has and no person should have to fight the way my father did. So I am asking all of you to either donate or join us in the walk to help raise awareness for this awful disease and honor my father in the best way I know how. Come and join Mitch's Warriors!

This  November 18th, I will participate in PurpleStride Orange County, the walk to end pancreatic cancer, in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN). Pancreatic cancer is the world’s toughest cancer with a five-year survival rate of just 9 percent. But through PurpleStride, you can help improve patient outcomes and help PanCAN double survival by 2020.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

I, and many others like me across the country, will walk/run this year to honor a caregiver like my Mom, a person living with the disease or a loved one we’ve lost such as my Father, while raising funds and awareness to advance pancreatic cancer care, support and research.

Donate today and show your support for the mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, sisters, brothers, colleagues and friends we are fighting for each and every day. Just click the button below to make a secure, tax-deductible donation online.

Thank you for your support and hope some of you can walk with myself and Mitch's Warriors!
