Welcome to My Personal Page
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
I was diagnosed in September of 2013 and have survived 4+ years. I underwent Chemo, Chemo with Radiation, a Whipple surgery and more Chemo. I lost my sister, 2 first cousins and my step-mother to Pancreatic Cancer also.
The reason I'm sharing my story with you is to help you understand what a terrible,l horrific insidious disease Pancreatic Cancer is. This year, more than 40 thousand people will die from this disease. That's one person every 15 minutes.
Today Pancreatic Cancer is the 3rd deadliest cancer. It is projected that in 2020 it will be the 2nd deadliest cancer.
Today, what I am asking you to do is reach into your pockets and donate $5.00 to help us as cancer survivors make cancer no longer a death sentence but a long term chronic illness that all cancer survivors and their families can live with.
I ask you to PLEASE give $5.00 to help us, as cancer survivors support research that needs to be done to eradicate cancer in our lifetime. We've come a long way but we still have a long way to go. Won't you please donate today.
I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
