Welcome to My Personal Page
One cannot prepare enough for a love one passing away. More so when you see them slowly being snuffed out of life until the very last breath. Such was the case of our mom. Luding, she was fondly called. Full of high spirits even at her age of 88 years until that day when she was diagnosed of stage 4 pancreatic cancer first week of Nov 2018. It was a shock. We never had any knowledge of what she was going through. Maybe there were bits of inconsistencies in her behavior but we surmised, it was due to old age and we thought about them as normal. Until when the last of her blood results came and the doctor became alarmed of the abnormality in the numbers of the results. More tests, then the shocking revelation. Just barely 4 weeks, she was gone.It was a torment and at the same time confusing. Her last weeks were something we wouldn't want any family to go through.Cancer is a killer for sure. If it not for mom's age, there was a glimmer of hope. And cancer is a battle best won when there is time. For those with friends or family/relatives suffering from the same ailment, cure is readily available. And with a strong family and community support, we can overcome cancer.
