curt's 5K - One Year and counting
In August of last year, I found myself in the hospital for the first time in many, many years. The next month I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The next eight months brought several more hospital stays, surgery, and chemotherapy. I was lucky...we found the cancer early and I could be treated. My latest scan showed no remaining signs of the cancer. My life is back to normal (as much as it will ever be) and I feel great! Most diagnosed with this insidious disease have much more somber stories.
I feel privileged to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite future stories of this disease by making a donation today?
