Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for visiting my page in honor of my sister, Shemika Foust. Shemika’s family, friends and I are raising money and awareness of Pancreatic Cancer, in memory of Shemika. My sister was called home by God on July 5, 2017 after an 18 month battle with the deadly disease.
My loving, full of life and laughter sister leaves behind our father, mother, brother and sister, numerous in-laws and amazing friends. Mika’s infectious personality brought laughter and joy to everyone around her. Mika is missed daily by all and continues to fill our hearts with joyous memories.
We are raising money by supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, participating in the PurpleStride Maryland 5K run (or walk) taking place Sunday, October 8, 2017. By making a donation to our team, you are supporting the efforts of doubling the survival for this deadly disease by 2020.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. Every dollar you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
Please help us reach our goal of $5,000 in memory of Mika Boo and everyone affected by this disease.
Thank you for your donations and we hope to see you .
