Welcome to My Personal Page
Last year I underwent a rare surgery on stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. I had a distal Pancrectomy and a Splenectomy done at Swedish Medical Center in Denver in July 2018. I was originally diagnosed n March 2017 with metastasis to my ovary, I received traditional Chemo therapy for almost a full year. Holding my breath saying this: I haven't had any re-occurrence since diagnosis date. In 2017 I was too sick to travel for this event, in 2018 I had just been diagnosed with diabetes C-3 and was again unable to travel from Europe. This year I am coming and I am determined to keep fighting this horrific disease. My son, Michael, is walking with me.
If anyone in or around Boston wants to come and walk with me, please do. You are also velcome to donate for the cause, a wonderful organization that help people like me.
Pancreatic Cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
