Fighting on behalf of all pancreatic cancer warriors
Just before my 40th birthday in February 2017, a stage 3 adenocarcinoma was found on my pancreas. Today, 30 months later, I am still alive and my last scan shows no evidence of disease thanks to the amazing efforts of Dr. Andrew Coveler and Dr. Venu Pillarisetty at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. As long as their is breath in my lungs, I will continue to fight for other pancreatic cancer patients.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest cancer with just a 9% 5 year survival rate. I have have met so many survivors and family members of patients and learned so much. I am raising money to help change the story for all pancreatic cancer patients.
I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
