Welcome to My Personal Page
As all of you know I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer July 25th, 2015. Over the past 2 years I've learned how difficult it is to diagnosed and treat this disease. Most people do not even know they have Pancreatic Cancer until it is in advanced stages and often cant be treated. Although, the medical community has made advancements in treating the disease, they still have a long way to go. Pancreatic Cancer will kill more people than breast cancer this year, yet awareness remains low in communities across the country.
We need to bring awareness to this terrible disease and raise money for research. The five- year survival rate has increased one percentage point every year over the past three years and is now 9 percent. Those three percentage points represent approximately 1,500 loved ones. I know this doesn't sound like much, but every percent is a glimmer of hope. There has been great progress over the past years thanks to many of you supporting the cause.
Since November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month it is a great time to join me in this fight. This year's walk is on November 11th at the beautiful William Land Park in Sacramento. I would greatly appreciate your support by either joining my team in the walk and/or by donating to our cause. it is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause- you can join our team and/or make your donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message.
It has been a wonderful, cancer free year! God is good and I am blessed to have each and every one of you and all of your prayers, love, and support!
Love & Blessings,
