Welcome to My Personal Page
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This point was driven home to me recently on two seperate occasions. The first was when I was at the PurpleStride Walk in Tulsa last monthh and they called all survivors up on the stage. There were only 8 of us out of the several hundred walking that day. The second was at a recent PanCan Affiliates meeting in Charlotte a couple of weeks ago when everyone in attendance was asked to introduce themselves and I was the only one out of the twenty plus attendees that was a survivor. The rest were either family members or friends of those that were less fortunate. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can't take away my determination.
I've stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren't enough. Please join me in the fight today.
