Join us for PurpleStride New York City to help us make strides against pancreatic cancer at our 5K run and family-friendly walk. Enjoy a day filled with children's activities, music, refreshments, our ShopPurple store, and more!

  • Vincent E. Brunton Way at Prospect Park Southwest* - closest access bus, van, or car drop off point

    *Subway stop if using F or G Train (15th St - Prospect Park) - walk along Prospect Park Southwest (yellow highlight on map) to Vincent E. Brunton Way at Prospect Avenue
  • Prospect Park West at 9th street - access point if using F or G Train - 7th Ave
  • Ocean Avenue at Lincoln RD - access point* if using Q, S, or B train

    Wheelchairs will be provided by volunteers for those in need of assistance at the entrance to Prospect Park on Prospect Park Southwest at Vincent E. Brunton Way.

    Youth registration is for ages 3-12. Children ages 2 and under are not required to register.

    Please note - your registration fee will count towards your personal fundraising total. You will receive a registration confirmation via email with tax information for your records. Please note, registration fees are not tax-deductible.

    If you are a team captain and would like to pick up for your entire team (of 5 or more and for all team members, no partial teams) please RSVP by clicking HERE, by Wednesday, April 5 at 12:00 p.m. If you don’t RSVP but would like to pick up for team, you may do so, but there may be a 15-20 minute wait while we prep your items. If you decide to pick up for your entire team, we encourage you to let your team members know so there isn’t any confusion about picking up their items!

    Ron Claiborne - Special Guest

    PurpleStride New York City proudly welcomes Ron Claiborne as our Special Guest! We are honored to have him return for this year's event. Claiborne is the news anchor for ABC News' weekend edition of "Good Morning America." He joined ABC News in 1986. In addition to his news anchor duties, he is a general assignment correspondent based in New York, reporting for "World News Tonight with David Muir," "Good Morning America" and “Nightline.”

    Katrina Edorsson - Emcee

    PurpleStride New York City proudly welcomes Katrina Edorsson from CBS’s hottest show, “Survivor," as Emcee!
    Katrina attends many charitable functions with former cast members and other reality television starts to bring joy to those who need a little uplifting support. She has a personal connection to pancreatic cancer: Katrina lost her father, Alf Edorsson, after a short three-month battle with pancreatic cancer and will attend PurpleStride New York City in memory of him.
