PurpleStride walks are among the largest sources of funding for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. As a fundraiser, you are leading the charge with us in our mission to advance research, support patients and create hope.

We are pleased to welcome Peggy Lee as PurpleStride NEPA 2017 event emcee!
Peggy Lee joined the Newswatch 16 Team in October, 2008. She comes to WNEP after spending two years at WJZ-TV, the CBS affiliate in Baltimore, MD; prior to that, Peggy worked in the country’s southeast region, reporting on the crime beat in Savannah, GA at WJCL-TV.

Emmaus High School is spreading awareness!

Emmaus High School and Southern Lehigh are using their rival lacrosse game to raise money for pancreatic cancer!

Thank you to the Red Sox, Quincy Mayor, Thomas Koch, & Governor Baker!

Red Sox President, Sam Kennedy, Governor Charlie Baker, and Mayor of Quincy, Thomas Koch, all shaved their heads to raise funds for cancer research in the Saving by Shaving event. A total of $5 million was donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
