MEMBER HIGHLIGHT: KOREAN PANCREATIC CANCER NETWORK

Korean Pancreatic Cancer Network (KPCN), founded in 2015, is determined to make the fight against pancreatic cancer in Korea everybody's fight. Public awareness of the disease in this country remains low, making patients' and doctors' struggle against pancreatic cancer a lonely one. However, KPCN is only at the beginning of its journey and will continue to make small steps. The organization looks forward to working closely and collaborating with WPCC and expanding activities in Korea.

WPCC ANNUAL MEETING WORKSHOPS – YOUR INPUT NEEDED!

We are offering members who attend the 2019 WPCC Annual Meeting the opportunity to attend two of three workshops. To ensure we pick topics that are of interest to members, we need your feedback on options. Please complete the following survey by Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018. It will take under a minute to complete but will greatly help us ensure that the Annual Meeting workshops meet your needs!

GIVE YOUR INPUT

INTERESTED IN JOINING A WPCC COMMITTEE?

We have openings on two committees:

World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition Steering Committee
We have one vacancy to fill on the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition Steering Committee. This is open to all members; however, from February we will no longer have representation from a European organization, so we are especially interested in applications from Coalition members who are based in Europe. Read about the WPCC Steering Committee role.

World Pancreatic Cancer Day Committee
We are recruiting three new members to the World Pancreatic Cancer Day Committee. This is open to all Coalition members, but we are especially interested in filling gaps on the Committee from member organizations that are based in the United States and Europe. Read about the WPCD Committee role.

If you have questions or wish to discuss the roles, please contact Clara MacKay at Clara@worldpancreaticcancercoalition.com. Completed applications for both the WPCC Steering Committee and the WPCD Committee should be emailed to info@worldpancreaticcancercoalition.com by Friday, Jan. 4, 2019.
