Yoshi Majima, president of PanCAN Japan
Member Highlight: PanCAN Japan

PanCAN Japan was formed in 2006 as an autonomous extension of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Like the U.S.-based Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, PanCAN Japan's mission is to advance research, support patients and create hope. It does so by offering patient services as well as leading advocacy efforts to increase pancreatic cancer research funding in Japan, where the disease is the fourth leading cause of cancer-related death.

New WPCD Materials You Can Use

Here are new assets you can find on the WPCD website!
  • Cover photos for social media pages
  • Downloadable press kit that includes logos, FAQ, photo bank and Save the Date assets
Also, as part of the Social Media Training webinar on Sept. 29, keep an eye out for these items at the end of the month:
  • More than 20 posts you can share on your social media pages directly from the WPCD social pages
  • A summary of key dates for when social media content will be posted, so you can plan your content
  • Social Media Field Guide with sample tweets and tips on how to respond to questions you may get on social media
We Want To Hear More about You

We have put together a WPCC Member survey to collect information about your organization and its activities. This will help us provide more information on our website about what you do, so we can better direct people to your organization. It will also enable us to share information with fellow WPCC members so that we can learn from each other – and hopefully find even more ways we can work together.

For this information to be useful, we need all our members to participate – so please take 10 minutes to complete the survey by Friday, Sept. 23. If you have any questions about the survey and how we plan to use the information, or if you need assistance completing it, please email clara@worldpancreaticcancercoalition.com.

Thank you in advance!
