Member Profile: Swiss Self-Help Organization Pancreatic Diseases

The SSP Schweizer Selbsthilfeorganisation Pankreaserkrankungen (Swiss Self-Help Organization Pancreatic Diseases) was founded in 1998 to provide medical information on pancreatic diseases and therapies. At the time, it published a patient brochure in collaboration with the University Hospital of Berne and organized information events at hospitals. A decade later, its members had diminished. In 2012, Daniela Meier inquired about re-launching the organization, and today, she is president. The organization empowers patients to get access to resources that can improve quality of life.

WPCD Final Details Webinar Follow-Up: Get the Recording and Materials!

The WPCD Final Details webinar was full of helpful information to get you ready for Nov. 16. If you missed it, here is the recording. We discussed materials you can download and use to promote WPCD 2017, as well as five important reminders:
  1. Promote and share the "At the Doctor" video, available in multiple languages
  2. Engage with WPCD social media channels and content
  3. Promote and share the core WPCD social graphic
  4. Use the approved hashtags: #WPCD, #PancreaticCancer, #WorldPancreaticCancerDay
  5. On a regular basis, send your stories, photos and news to Clara at clara@worldpancreaticcancercoalition.com
